I am horrible at this!

I know that not very many people read this, but on the off chance that people are looking for an update...here it is. Life is great right now. Not much has changed since my last post, but here are a few things that have changed.

I went to the temple and received my endowments (for anyone that wants to learn about the LDS church go to mormon.org). It was an absolutely amazing experience.
Dad, me, Mom, and Jenny outside of the temple.

I finished my second to last year of undergrad. I have made some amazing friends at Radford University and I am so happy with my decision to come here and I have been so blessed by following Heavenly Father's plan for my life.

This is Lauren, me, and Kasey
I also got a chance to go to the beach with some friends after school got out. One of my friends families owns a beach house and let us stay there for a long weekend. We had so much fun and it was a great way to relax after a very stressful semester.
This was the beautiful house we stayed in (Thank you to the Davis' for letting us stay)

The amazing beach
The boys made us a wonderful breakfast
You can't tell by this picture, but the waves were fabulous
We watched a video IN the hot tub :)
This is me and Christina on a ride :)

After the beach, I went to Hershey Park with one of my best friends, Christina Davis, before she moved to Alaska. We had so much fun and it was such an awesome trip.

Overall, things are great. I will be heading to the beach with my family next week (July 9) and I am very excited about it. Life is good :)

Thanksgiving out west

I was blessed to be able to spend time with Brooke for thanksgiving. The trip was quite eventful. The turbulence flying into salt lake was absolutely horrible, but i survived. It snowed almost every day. We were supposed to drive from Logan to Boise on wednesday, but the roads were so bad we stayed the night in twin falls. We got to Boise on Thursday and had a fabulous time. It was great to be back out west. I miss being out there, but I do not miss the crazy amount of snow.

Temple trip

So I went on a ward temple trip back in November. I was an amazing experience and I had a great time. I spent almost all day at the temple and then stayed in northern Va that night. The group of people from the ward that I was staying with went to church with some people who graduated from Virginia tech and moved back to d.c. I was awesome to be able to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while. Being at the temple was really nice and I realized that I am in the right place and that I am following the plan that Heavenly Father has set out for me. Knowing that, made me feel so at peace and it was very comforting to know I was doing the right thing.

And so it begins....

I have contemplated starting a blog for a while now. I finally decided to just go for it. Who knows if this will actually last, but I figure I have friends and family all over the place and this could make it easy for them to know what is going on in my life. I chose Aimer la vie for my blog title because it means  "love life". I really do try to love my life, so I thought it would be applicable.
